Ubuntu? Medibuntu!
Are you missing big brother's omniscient media player?
Medibuntu (Multimedia, Entertainment & Distractions In Ubuntu) is a repository of packages that cannot be included into the Ubuntu distribution for legal reasons (copyright, license, patent, etc).
Some of these packages include the libdvdcss package from VideoLAN,FFMpeg codecs not supported in multiverse, and the external binary codecs package (commonly known as w32codecs) used by MPlayer andxine.
From:
open terminal, paste in:
sudo wget --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list && sudo apt-get --quiet update && sudo apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get --quiet updatehit enter
paste:
sudo apt-get --yes install app-install-data-medibuntu apport-hooks-medibuntu
enter
or maybe you just want to use google Earth?
